Phyna’s Loss and Social Fallout: Blessing CEO Urges Grace Amid Public Feud

Reality TV star Phyna is mourning the tragic passing of her younger sister, Ruth Otabor, following a devastating truck accident in Edo State. As the pain of her loss unfolded, so too did a public conflict with social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM)—a clash that has drawn both sympathy and sharp criticism from onlookers.

One of those speaking out is controversial coach Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO. She has publicly called on Phyna to exercise restraint and gratitude—even in the midst of grief.

A Time for Sympathy, Not Feuding

In a heartfelt video shared online, Blessing CEO offered her condolences to Phyna but also issued a candid admonition:

“Phyna, I’m sorry for the loss of your sister… but please, keep your anger in check and hold your tongue when things are toughest… you will be careful because the devil is just looking for a small opportunity to nail you to the wall.”

She underscored that this situation is about shared humanity—not personal vendettas—and urged Phyna to show gratitude to those who offered help, even in turmoil.

Questioning the Use of Social Media in Mourning

Blessing CEO went further, suggesting that Phyna’s public handling of her sister’s tragedy may have veered into the realm of content creation:

“They turned your sister’s case into content creation… Activists are human beings too. When people are ungrateful, it kills your energy. Gratitude has a way of standing you tall.”

Her message was clear: genuine appreciation should take precedence over public confrontation—especially with individuals who extended a hand in hard times.

Instead of engaging with VDM, Blessing CEO recommended alternative avenues for advocacy and support—including media figures like Harrison Gwamnishu, Daddy Freeze, or platforms like the Brekete Family show. She felt these could serve Phyna better than escalating the online squabble:

“You could have used Harrison, Daddy Freeze or Brekete when you knew you didn’t want to use VDM. In a bid to spite VDM, you went to Izzy Ogbeide…”

Blessing CEO’s public words frame this as more than just a feud—it’s a moment to reflect on respect, gratitude, and the complexities of grief amplified by social media.
